Joi AI characters and JOI Spicy
Joi AI is a virtual companion service from Novi Limited, registration number HE 407352. Its interface supports seven languages, including English, Spanish and French. Characters introduce themselves through a profile, adult age, job and story.
Joi Originals
Joi Originals are characters designed by the service. Avery Wyld plays bass, Jax Carter is a tattoo artist and Chloe is a shy goth. Their introductions suggest a conversational style, while galleries require an account.
joi.ai is the general entry point. JOI Spicy on joi.com brings together the adult version, a gallery, image and video generators, male and female characters and an illustrated style.
Conversations, creations and Neurons

Charged when opened
Romantic messages and adult content are billed when read or viewed. The character has already produced the reply when you open it. Gifts also use Neurons, with the charge shown when you select one.

A character subscription is added to Premium. When Premium ends, this access is suspended and can resume when you reactivate it, with no extension for the suspended period.
Creating a character or making a call
Describe appearance, role, personality and setting in the builder. Styles include realistic, anime, animation-inspired artwork, and hentai, its adult variant. An existing model can provide a starting point. The public generator does not accept personal photos or face replacement.
Some characters offer real-time video calls with sound and picture. Camera and microphone permission are required, along with a compatible device and plan. The feature is not available everywhere.
Content checks and conversation data
Content checks
Messages and image or video requests go through automated checks. A human team moderates public content. The service may also oversee character activity to improve performance. Independent model-safety tests are announced twice a year.
Characters must be adults and non-consensual content is refused. Creations remain synthetic content from the service. A serious violation can bring account closure and data retention for the authorities.
Information shared in chat
Joi AI does not sell or rent personal information. Conversations may still be processed by group companies, their representatives and providers. Text and voice messages contribute to character development.
Session recordings, including clicks, are offered with in-app consent. Sharing them with Microsoft also requires agreement. Created characters belong to the service, which can change their visibility with an interface notification. Creators can then request private status or deletion.
Premium and additional purchases
Cash prices for Premium, Neurons and character subscriptions appear after registration and vary by offer, term and region. Premium renews monthly, quarterly, every six months or annually. A character subscription is an additional purchase requiring active Premium. An unpaid bill for seven days returns the account to Basic.

Payment, cancellation and refunds
Joi AI accepts cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and cryptocurrency where available. Statements show joi.com. Cancel through My Subscriptions on the purchase site to keep Premium until the paid term ends.
Refunds can be requested within fourteen days for proven card fraud, an accidental Neuron purchase once per account, or closure by the service other than for a rule breach. Mistaken Neuron purchases receive a full refund if unused and a partial refund otherwise. Eligible closures refund paid unused fees proportionally, while ordinary cancellation does not refund the current paid month.
A bank chargeback can lead Joi AI to disclose private conversations to substantiate the payment.
