Kupid.ai character backstories
Kupid.ai offers female and male AI companions in realistic or anime styles, the latter a form of cartoon art. SNB Technologies LTD operates the service under registration number 447805.
Choosing a personality
Each portrait comes with an age, occupation and temperament. Jolene runs a vineyard, Mariko studies literature and Adriana is a former performer. Those short backstories help you pick a character for continuing conversations.
Sort the catalog by style or theme, from the neighbor to gothic or costumed characters. Characters are presented as adults. A separate section offers virtual boyfriends.
Building a companion and choosing memory
Free sign-up needs no card. It includes fifteen messages and one custom character, with no photos, videos or voice messages.
Four builder screens
Choose style, face, hair, eyes, body and skin tone. A dice button offers a random combination. Identity adds a name, an age of 18 or over, and a voice with a sample to hear first.
Six temperaments shape personality, from playful to mysterious. Occupation, relationship and interests complete the profile, with a free text field for your own traits. The character stays private and can be edited later.
Memory for an ongoing relationship
The free account remembers the last thirty messages. Pro keeps the last hundred and Ultra the whole conversation. Both paid plans include voice input so you can speak instead of typing. Character counts, speed and generation priority vary by tier.
Coins are the generation credits. Included or gifted coins expire after six months, while purchased top-ups have no expiry. Coins closest to their expiry are spent first.
Included photos, videos and voice
Features have separate allowances. Pro and Ultra quotas refresh weekly, even with a year paid upfront.

Individual and group images
Request a photo in chat or use the generator with a custom description and advanced settings. Pro can place up to three of your characters in the same image.
The voice chosen at creation carries into audio messages, counted in minutes. Character videos add to the conversation. Reels are a feed of short clips to scroll through.
Lifetime access includes full memory, voice input and eight characters, with 200 photos, 66 videos and 35 voice-message minutes per month. Its duration is tied to the service's continued operation.
Conversation data
Kupid.ai stores conversations. Personal data stays for six years after account closure, a consideration when choosing which details to share.
Weekly, yearly or lifetime access
Pro and Ultra are sold weekly or yearly, with lifetime access also offered for Ultra. Another Pro offer adds three months and 100 weekly coins without a public usage price list. Prices are presented in euros, while alternative payment methods use dollar amounts with the same numbers. Current offers advertise one-off payment with no automatic renewal. Check the order's total and currency carefully.

Verdict
Who it suits
- Picking a character for their backstory
- Continuing a relationship over several weeks
- Planning photo and video use
Who should skip it
- Keeping weekly pricing for lasting daily use
- Buying long access before deciding
Start with one week of Pro to choose a Kupid.ai companion and see how the personality carries into conversation. Its allowances give you room to explore different kinds of response and creation without paying for a long term at once.
Once regular use is established, yearly Pro suits your ongoing conversations. Ultra is mainly for members who want the entire story remembered or need more than Pro's allowances. Lifetime access suits an already well-established habit with the service.
We settle on three out of five for Kupid.ai, where written characters and published allowances support an ongoing relationship. Different offers across two purchase routes and expensive weekly pricing require care when choosing a term.
