On Reddit, you can follow the person behind a photo and read the conversation it starts. Its topic forums, called subreddits, include thousands of porn communities among more than 100,000 active communities overall. Adult content is free. You need an account, the 18+ setting and sometimes proof of age to open it.

Photos and conversations on Reddit
Reddit brings together forums created and run by their members. You find photos, videos and stories in communities marked as adult. Reddit, Inc. counts more than 26 billion posts and comments across all subjects.
Every post shows its author, date, score and discussion. Volunteer moderators set the community rules, while members vote to bring the posts they like to the top.
Videos hosted elsewhere
Some videos play inside Reddit while the files stay on RedGIFs. Opening the video's link takes you to its creator and their other clips.

Adult settings and Premium tools
Showing adult images
You switch on Show mature (18+) content in your account Preferences. The nearby blur setting keeps pictures hidden until you click, useful in a feed that mixes adult posts with other topics. On Android, the option is in the app's viewing settings. On iPhone, you change it in a browser and it syncs to the app.
Confirming your age
Reddit estimates age using signals including account history, email, activity and birthdate. When these are insufficient, you may need to share the age range from your Apple or Google account, or use Persona with an ID or selfie. Reddit keeps your verified age and status. Persona handles the images and deletes them after processing.
Premium tools
Premium highlights comments added since your last visit and raises posting limits. You can write up to 80,000 characters, upload a 30-minute video and ask 100 daily questions through the artificial intelligence search. The r/lounge community is included too.
Community search hides some large adult forums when you are logged out. A directory such as NSFWSubs helps you find their names before joining.
Choosing communities
Photos on r/gonewild
On r/gonewild, members post nude photos of themselves. Titles carry gender tags such as [f], [m] or [t], and an optional moderator check confirms that the author is the person pictured. Selling, self-promotion and requests for contact outside Reddit are prohibited there.
Communities move at different speeds. The table preserves a dated activity snapshot, showing how a large amateur photo forum compares with quieter spaces.
| Subreddit | Created | Contributions that week |
|---|---|---|
| r/gonewild | December 2008 | 45,745 |
| r/hentai | June 2008 | 3,191 |
| r/RealGirls | August 2009 | 1,721 |
| r/porn | January 2008 | 1,455 |
| r/nsfw | January 2006 | 682 |
| r/NSFW_GIF | March 2010 | 171 |
Reading and posting
Any account can read and post in a public subreddit. Restricted communities reserve posting for approved members. Private communities are only open to people their moderators accept. You check the rules of the space before sharing your pictures.
Free use and subscriptions
Reddit's porn is free, including voting, commenting and posting. Premium starts at $5.99 a month on the web, removes ads and renews monthly or annually. You cancel at least 24 hours before renewal through the site's Premium settings, Apple subscriptions or Google subscriptions, matching where you bought it. Your benefits last for the paid term, after which ads return. There are no partial refunds.
| Plan | On the web | In the app |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | 5.99 dollars | 6.99 dollars |
| Yearly | 49.99 dollars | 59.99 dollars |
| RedGIFs | Peachr | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| Account for porn | Required | No | No |
| Content | Photos, videos and discussions | Clips hosted on site | Clips from Reddit and RedGIFs |
| Paid plan | Premium, 5.99 dollars a month | None for viewers | Premium, 8 dollars for one month |
| Ads | Sponsored posts | Clips promoted by creators | In the feed and the grid |
Moderation and reports
Reddit publishes moderation figures twice a year. From July to December 2025, its teams removed 54,399,238 posts and comments from 2,210,675,258 submitted by members.
You can report intimate images shared without consent on the site. Reddit also works with StopNCII, which uses a digital fingerprint of an image to help participating platforms stop it circulating.

Verdict

- Posting your own photos to a large crowd
Who should skip it
- Watching without creating an account
- Refusing any age check
- Looking for full studio scenes
You choose Reddit to follow amateur creators and join the conversations around their photos. A free account covers that use. Joining a few communities whose rules and posts appeal to you builds a feed you can return to each time.
Premium mainly suits you if you read other forums too and want to remove ads. For that purpose, buying on the web costs less than buying in the app. A community's videos can also be found on their host, while the conversation stays here.
Conversations around the photos and a wide choice of communities put Reddit at four out of five for amateur porn. You can follow creators for free, once you have adjusted the settings and found the subreddits you enjoy.
