An index of adult forums
NSFWSubs is a directory independent of Reddit. You look up community names and descriptions, with no porn images displayed on its pages. Each entry links to the original forum.
The database syncs with Reddit daily. Banned, deleted or permanently closed communities leave the list. The statistics show 66,544 active forums in the October 13, 2026 update.
French and Spanish are among the interface's ten languages.
Search, growth and bookmarks
Searching words and themes
Search covers names and descriptions, narrowing results as you type. You can combine it with the category tree or straight, gay and lesbian filters. Searching a city, region or country finds local communities.
Spotting growing forums
Each page lists a hundred subreddits. Top highlights large forums, Trending tracks growth relative to their size, Newest covers additions from the last 30 days and Subscribers sorts by member count.
Counts are displayed in bands. Gone Wild, Hentai and Real Girls all show over a million, for instance. Their descriptions and topics help you choose between them.
| Band shown | Example subreddit |
|---|---|
| Over a million | Gone Wild |
| 100,000 to 1 million | PORN GW |
| 10,000 to 100,000 | Selfies Gone Wild |
| 5,000 to 10,000 | The Wild Side |
| Under 1,000 | Gone Wild 4 All |
Clicking a community's icon keeps it in the left-hand bookmarks list. Those bookmarks stay in your browser and disappear if you clear its data.
Categories and related communities
The fifteen categories branch into body types, activities, formats, relationships and fictional worlds. You can start with a broad interest and narrow it down without knowing a subreddit's name.
Related communities
A community page brings together the moderators' description, a summary, its subscriber band and eight related forums. You can expand your search across communities of different sizes rather than staying with the first few in the rankings.
Eight guides also group links by topic, including amateur photos, Japanese erotic animation called hentai, artificial intelligence creations and short animated clips. You can suggest a missing forum through the contact form.
Using the directory
Using NSFWSubs is completely free, with no sign-up or subscription. Its home page and community pages show no ads.

Verdict
Who it suits
- Making a shortlist of communities to explore
- Finding a theme without knowing subreddit names
- Spotting growing forums
Who should skip it
- Watching videos on the same site
- Comparing exact subscriber counts
A theme in mind and no subreddit names yet is a useful starting point for NSFWSubs. You work through the categories, then open a page's related forums to build your shortlist. The whole search is free.
You take those names to Reddit to participate, after setting up adult preferences and any required age check, or to Photon to read and watch without an account. The directory is especially handy when you want to move beyond familiar communities.
NSFWSubs earns four out of five for planning discoveries: you search by topic, spot growing communities and bookmark the results. Subscriber bands are less useful when you want to compare very large forums.
