An actor's scene roles and alternate names come together in GEVI, the Gay Erotic Video Index. You can plan your next gay porn discovery across an advertised 100,000-plus performers, 105,000 episodes and 60,000 films. Phonetic search helps when you remember how a name sounds rather than how it is spelled.

Older films and recent episodes

GEVI covers gay, bisexual and trans films, with a few straight titles featuring actors already in the index. The counters give you catalogue thresholds.
| Entry | Number shown |
|---|---|
| Performers | Over 100,000 |
| Online episodes | Over 105,000 |
| Films | Over 60,000 |
| Studios | Over 2,700 |
| Directors | Over 2,500 |
After the age gate, you reach recently added episodes grouped by date, with studio, title and cast. Separate lists cover movies and performers. You can look up someone from a recent release even when you do not know their name.
Following an actor across stage names
Search covers actors, titles, studios and directors. With at least three characters, you can match the start, end or part of a name, or choose a similar-sounding match. That last option helps when you have heard a stage name without seeing it written down.
One profile for several aliases
Profiles collect aliases, physical details, tattoos and occasional career notes. Pavel Matous, for instance, has 26 names linked together. A detail in parentheses distinguishes actors who share a name.
Tables separate episodes, films and shorts. Each row lists the name credited on that title, partners and action codes, which distinguish roles including top and bottom. You can sort, filter and search for partners across their aliases.
You can contact GEVI by email. It publishes no dedicated process for requesting profile removal.

Careers within the catalogue
The FAQ preserves some catalogue history through its records. Chad Driver has 38 aliases listed there and Pavel Matous has 334 performances. Among directors, Jake Cruise is credited with 557 videos.
These lists sit alongside a section on older gay magazines. You can continue a film search through publications and studios from the same period as well as browsing new releases.
The whole index, free to browse
All GEVI searches and entries are free, and nothing sits behind an account. Studio banners fund the index and lead to paid offers elsewhere. GEVI charges no subscription and sells no videos on the site.
Strengths and weaknesses

Weaknesses
- Long tables to browse when you are searching visually.
The best alternatives to GEVI
Verdict
Who it suits
- Finding an actor under another name
- Choosing a scene by its roles
- Exploring a gay film collection
Who should skip it
- Playing videos directly on the index
- Researching mainly straight porn
GEVI works best when you begin with an actor you have heard named or seen at several studios. You can try phonetic search when the spelling is uncertain, then use the role tables to choose titles to watch through their publishers. For an older collection, starting with the film or studio brings up the credits linking its performers.
Matching aliases and choosing scenes by role are what GEVI does well, at four out of five. Its long lists require more attention than a gallery of previews.
