The best porn sites according to Reddit

The porn sites Reddit mentions most

A comment counts once per site, even if it names it twice. The number of threads shows whether a site comes up everywhere or in a single discussion.

Six of the top ten are free tube sites, video sites paid for by advertising. They all have a review in our free porn tubes category. Twitter/X and OnlyFans are broader platforms, which Reddit names as the place to follow performers and amateurs.

Further down, RedGIFs (20 comments), Beeg (19) and Literotica (19) close the list of the most mentioned sites in our directory. Bellesa, named in 9 threads, is the first paid site.

Why Reddit picks these sites

Comments rarely stop at a name. The most upvoted ones explain a choice, or a disappointment.

Pornhub, the most mentioned and the most criticized

Pornhub is named in all 18 threads, often in a complaint. Its most upvoted mention (1,125 upvotes) misses the days before the big cleanup, when the site still hosted videos from unverified accounts. Of its 99 top-level replies, about fifteen say the site has gone downhill, and six say it is blocked where they live.

The most upvoted reply to that regret (969 upvotes) recalls why the cleanup happened: videos posted without the consent of the people filmed. Other users stick with Pornhub out of caution, because they see it as safer than small sites full of pop-up ads.

Since then, only verified models and studios can upload. Access is also restricted in several countries and US states that require age verification. Our review gives it 3/5: a free 1080p catalog and published moderation figures, held back by those access limits and a Premium plan with no downloads.

XVideos and XNXX, the regulars

XVideos is mentioned almost as often as Pornhub, often by long-time users. One compares digging through its catalog to a raccoon going through a dumpster, and finding gems there (185 upvotes). XNXX, its sister site, gets one of the most upvoted comments in the whole count (704 upvotes): a loyal user who was there before Pornhub existed.

Both sites belong to the same group, separate from Pornhub’s owner. A comment with 121 upvotes corrects a user who placed them under Aylo. Reddit’s main complaint about XVideos is search filters that do not work well. Our review gives it 5/5, for playback without an account, translated subtitles and channels to follow. XNXX gets 3/5.

xHamster for amateur content

A one-word “Xhamster” is the third most upvoted comment across the 18 threads, with 982 upvotes. Reddit likes it for amateur videos and for its filters: you can separate amateur from professional videos and pick a length. Another comment (193 upvotes) recommends it with an ad blocker.

Our review confirms the 4K and VR filters and the room given to verified creators. It holds back on ads that keep pushing FapHouse, the group’s paid service. Rating: 4/5.

SpankBang and Eporner, the insiders’ picks

In the “Most underrated porn site of 2026” thread on r/tipofmypenis, Eporner is the most mentioned site, with 13 comments. Reddit values its full-length videos and fresh uploads. It dislikes full videos ruined by an added voiceover (181 upvotes), and an ID request in some countries.

SpankBang is described as “a good all-rounder”. One user notes that a free account removes the ads before videos. Our reviews give SpankBang 4/5 for its tags, chapters and playlists, and Eporner 4/5, free right down to downloads.

Beeg, RedGIFs and Literotica

Beeg comes up in 9 threads for its studio videos, and our review notes a clean interface. RedGIFs, the host behind the clips of many subreddits, is criticized for its search, its outages and clips that are too short. Literotica, an erotic stories site, gets 116 upvotes for a one-word reply in the r/AskRedditAfterDark thread: part of Reddit would rather read.

How the picks changed from 2023 to 2026

The 2023 and 2024 threads hold 1,095 comments, the 2025 and 2026 threads 1,585. Measured against the number of comments, each site’s share shows a clear trend: the big tubes are losing ground, and picks are spreading out.

SpankBang loses the most, falling from 4.5% to 1.1% of comments. Eporner and Erome are the only ones to grow, carried by the 2026 r/tipofmypenis thread. Motherless fades from the replies before shutting down.

The paid sites Reddit recommends

The “What’s the best premium porn site out there?” thread on r/TooAfraidToAsk (219 comments, August 2025) is the only one of the 18 about subscriptions. Its most upvoted replies give a short list.

Bellesa Plus is the only paid site named in 9 threads. Reddit likes its films made by women and for women. Our review found a catalog of nearly 4,000 videos and in-house series. To see what it offers, the Bellesa Plus home page shows the catalog without an account.

Adult Time wins praise for the number of studios under one membership. Its streaming month costs €11.95$11.95. Brazzers starts at €30.99$33.99 for thirty days, Reality Kings at €27.99$19.99. Reddit gives none of these prices. Our reviews take them from the sign-up pages.

Vixen and its sister site Tushy are named for their polished look. Adult Time is the broadest membership on the list, and Vixen the most polished. The other memberships in the directory are ranked in our premium porn sites.

Live cams

Chaturbate is named in 7 threads. A comment with 178 upvotes calls it that user’s favorite form of porn, for what live shows offer that tube sites do not. Chaturbate can be watched for free, without an account. The other webcam sites are gathered in our cam sites.

Twitter/X and OnlyFans, outside porn sites

Twitter/X is named in 14 threads. Users follow performers’ and amateurs’ accounts there, then let the algorithm serve them new videos every day. OnlyFans is more divisive: its most upvoted mention (152 upvotes) complains that its content drowns out real amateur porn. Others see it as creators publishing for themselves. These pages are compared in our fan sites.

The right site for what you want

Reddit does not answer a single question. The threads mix different needs, and each site named wins on one specific point. The table matches the comments’ picks with what our reviews found.

For a first visit, XVideos and xHamster cover most needs. A membership is only worth it for a specific studio, or for the comfort of an ad-free catalog.

Reddit’s blind spots

A Reddit thread gives opinions without checking what it recommends. Four things are almost always missing.

Motherless is gone

Motherless is the eighth most mentioned site, in 11 threads. On September 29, 2026, its domain no longer resolves on Cloudflare’s and Google’s public DNS resolvers. A Reddit thread from August 2026 already asks what to use since it shut down. Older threads still recommend it.

Sites that repost videos

Several of the sites named take scenes from paid studios or content from creators without being their publishers. That is the case for Erome (10 threads), SxyPrn (8), Noodlemagazine (8), HQPorner (7) and PornTrex (6). We name them without a link.

Their videos often disappear after a takedown request, the publishers are not paid, and their ads are more aggressive. Other sites named in the threads post leaked paid accounts. We do not name them.

Tumblr and nostalgia

Tumblr is named in 7 threads, always in the past tense. The network has not allowed explicit content since 2018, and several users say nothing has replaced it. The 2023 threads also miss the Pornhub of before the cleanup. Part of the recommendations therefore describe an Internet that no longer exists.

VPNs and prices

The word “VPN” appears in 56 comments across 11 threads, including all six threads from 2026. Nearly all of them are about getting around a block or an age check. Finally, the threads give no prices at all: a recommended membership can cost twice what the reader expects. Our reviews give both the entry price and the renewal price.

The categories these threads miss

A general question gets general answers. The threads counted here are mostly about tube sites, and they leave whole areas of online porn aside.

Virtual reality barely appears: SexLikeReal and CzechVR are not named in a single comment. Our VR porn sites compare memberships and compatible headsets. Drawn porn comes down to one name, Rule34, in 9 threads. The licensed hentai sites do not come up at all.

Audio porn goes through the r/gonewildaudio subreddit, named in 4 threads, without any site being mentioned. Our audio porn sites list several. Finally, written stories come down to Literotica, while our erotic stories category holds others.

Porn subreddits as the answer

The most upvoted comment in the entire count (1,383 upvotes, r/AskRedditAfterDark) answers the question with one word: Reddit. For many users, porn subreddits are enough. In the September 2026 thread on r/AskRedditNSFW, the most upvoted reply (85 upvotes) also picks Reddit over any site.

The best subreddits, the tools to browse them and video hosts such as RedGIFs are gathered in our Reddit porn category.

Our method

We kept 18 threads asking the general “which porn site” question, posted from January 2023 to September 2026 on r/AskRedditNSFW, r/AskRedditAfterDark, r/TooAfraidToAsk, r/NSFW411, r/tipofmypenis, r/askanything and r/masturbation. Threads aimed at one audience (gay, VR, fetishes) were left out, because they would skew a general ranking.

Of the 3,987 announced comments, the 2,946 best rated were loaded, and 2,680 remain readable once deleted messages and bots are removed. Each site counts once per comment, short forms included: “PH” or “the hub” for Pornhub, “xvids” for XVideos. Upvotes are those of September 29, 2026.

This count has limits. The least upvoted replies in the longest threads were not loaded, and two jokes about the word “hamster” were removed from xHamster’s count. The threads are written in English, by a mostly American audience: the ranking describes English-speaking Reddit.
